                    Our National Flag

 

Each country has its own national flag. Different national flags have different shapes, sizes, colors and designs. Our country Nepal also has its own national flag. It is different from the flags of other countries. The history of our national flag dates back to around 19th century. Our national flag has red underneath and blue on the border. It is triangular in shape. It has half moon in the upper triangle and sun in the lower triangle. The red color of our national flag speaks of the courage of the Nepalese people where the blue color signifies wisdom, mind and honesty and the kind heart of the Nepalese people.

We should always respect and save our national flag. Our national flag gives an identity and introduction of Nepalese to the world.
